We were serve a big lunch along the ride at the Kelowna CRC.
It was a beautiful, 72 mile ride along Lake Okanagan. The temperature around 90 degrees. Amazing views at every turn.
There are a lot of cherry trees in this area.
We arrived in Vernon in the early afternoon. We are staying on the grounds of the Vernon Christian School. After setting up our tent and taking a shower, several of us went into Vernon to do our laundry at the laundry mat. Later that night about 20 of us went out to the local pub and sat out on the patio. I think we were the only ones in the pub. It was so relaxing to just sit and visit for several hours. The weather was perfect.
